Fender Musical Instruments Corporation announces Chris Shiflett’s new signature model, the Chris Shiflett Cleaver Telecaster® Deluxe, lead guitarist of FOO FIGHTERS, solo artist, and host of the podcast “Shred With Shifty.” did! This product will go on sale from today, November 20th.
His new signature model, named “The Cleaver,” has, as its name suggests, cut through the furiously loud FOO FIGHTERS stage with its extremely thick guitar sound. The Telecaster Deluxe, previously available only as a master-built model in the Fender Custom Shop, has now been added to the standard lineup made by Fender USA.
Chris is known for his love of Fender Telecaster guitars, especially his 1972 Telecaster Deluxe.
Chris said of his new signature model, “I put a lot of love and research into creating this USA-made version of my signature model, The Cleaver. We tested it on tour, dropped it upside down, kicked it around, X-rayed it, played it, tried chicken picking, arpeggios, and much more. And I’m very happy to be able to say with pride that we’ve created the best guitar that can handle any situation. I’m really looking forward to getting it into the hands of players all over the world! ” says.

“Chris Shiflett Cleaver Telecaster® Deluxe” is available in two colors: “Dakota Red” and “Charcoal Frost Metallic”. The resonant alder body provides the perfect foundation for bone-shaking, stadium-ready tones. This alder body has a nitrocellulose lacquer finish and a “berry cut” back contour for comfort during long playing sessions. The 25.5-inch scale maple neck is designed for speed, and features a 12-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, allowing for intense lead play and delicate bending. do. Pearloid block inlays lend this guitar classic elegance, and the two (Custom Chris Shiflett “Cleaver” Noiseless(TM) CS-90) pickups deliver powerful output and vintage single-coil-like feel.
