DIR EN GREY held a total of nine shows on their first European tour in four years, “EUROPE TOUR24 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ (mode of Withering to death. & UROBOROS)”. The title of the live film that will be released in theaters in the fall of 2024 and captures the performance in Germany, the final stop of the European tour, has been announced!
This work, titled “DIR EN GREY LIVE FILM: Reverberation of the Bloodline,” is a European tour centered around their past albums, and it depicts how DIR EN GREY’s songs still reverberate like “reverberations” even after the passage of time. The title expresses this as a work that shows the strong relationship between the people and the songs, like a “bloodline,” and allows you to feel the bonds and feelings that remain with the songs.
Following the structure of the two-day live concert, which was held with different content, the live film will also have different content and screening periods, with the March 30th performance titled “~Mode of Withering to Death.~” and the March 31st performance titled “~Mode of UROBOROS~” and will be released in theaters this fall in two parts.
The poster visual has also been released! The copy “Resonating beyond borders” is placed in the center, and each member is lit up in colorful lighting during a lively performance, creating an impressive visual.
