Matilda will disband on their 8th anniversary in March 2026. Also, prior to disbanding, Uni (Gt) will leave the band after their Ikebukuro Black Hole one-man performance on January 30, 2025.

Regarding leaving the group, he said, “When I thought about my life, I wanted to do more of the things I liked and wanted to do without being tied down, and I came to this conclusion because I didn’t want to regret the one time in my life.” ” he explains.
