Today, May 2nd, the anniversary of X JAPAN guitarist hide’s death, “GOOD BYE (hide cover)” by Kizu and SORA (DEZERT) was released on their YouTube channel “See you again in Spring.”

Even after 27 years since his death, his achievements and unparalleled originality never faded, and he is a rock star who has lived on the rise. Their attitude is clear from their music, fashion and numerous anecdotes, and their continued hope in a relaxed manner is the foundation of the visual rock scene and is also the pride of Japanese rock.
It is Rimu and SORA who have a deep respect for Hide’s spirit and say that he was influenced by his musical life. Both of them are leading the modern visual rock scene, and attracting attention with their overwhelming presence and expressiveness. He has led each band, Kizu and DEZERT, and has established himself as the next generation of flag bearers, including successful solo performances of the Nippon Budokan, an unusual young visual kei artist.
This year marks the third year and its third cover work. Last year, he released “Ko Gal (Hide Cover)” on the same day in 2024, and “FLAME (Hide Cover)” on the same day in 2023.
The will is passed down. A solo live performance by hide with Spread Beaver will be held at the Tokyo Gymnasium today, May 2nd and tomorrow, the 3rd. I would like to express my love for the heroes that still live in the hearts of people, and I would like to express my deep gratitude for living this day.
