Former EVANESCENCE female guitarist Jen Majura has announced her retirement from the music industry.
Jen Majura was a member of EVANESCENCE from 2015 to 2022. On her social media, she explained, “After carefully observing and carefully considering the current state of the music industry, AI-related developments, and social changes, I came to the conclusion that I would retreat,” she wrote, “Whether it’s recording or live, I will never make music again. But for now, I feel that there are healthier and better things that fill my life with good vibes, rather than facing the many ridiculous events that pose the music industry these days.”
