It has been revealed that the “Metal Fest” event featuring MOTÖRHEAD and ROB ZOMBIE will be held from July 30th to August 19th in the tank action game “World of Tanks Modern Armor” for PlayStation(R)4, PlayStation(R)5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S!
Shake your soul at a metal festival!
During this period, many MOTÖRHEAD and ROB ZOMBIE themed contents will be available in the game. The MOTÖRHEAD themed in-game contents include a new vehicle inspired by the song “Ace Of Spades” and a skin for the “FV107 Scimitar” inspired by the song “Bomber”. In addition, the 3D commander “Lemmy” with original voice and MOTÖRHEAD mascot character “Warpig” will appear as commanders of these vehicles, as well as 2D commanders modeled after MOTÖRHEAD members and a collection of super cool customization items and goods!

The in-game content themed around ROB ZOMBIE includes new vehicles and skins for the M53/M55 inspired by the songs “Dragula” and “Superbeast.” ROB ZOMBIE himself will also appear as a 3D tank commander, and there will also be exclusive customization items to make your tank even spookier!

The new 3D tank commanders “Lemmy” and “Warpig” with original voices were produced in collaboration with MOTÖRHEAD! The new 3D tank commanders have their voices recreated by AI based on original voice samples, such as interviews from Lemmy’s (Ba) unreleased personal archives and live recordings in a recording booth! MOTÖRHEAD commented on this endeavor, “We are pleased that the latest technology has allowed us to fully integrate Lemmy into the game. Lemmy loved games.”
In addition to the above, “Metal Fest” will bring back previously held content from IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH, and SABATON for a limited time! Take this opportunity to enjoy a hard rock gaming experience with “World of Tanks Modern Armor”!
