UNITED’s bassist Akihiro Yokoyama, also known as Yoko-chan, departed on May 13, 2014, and on September 12 of that year, two days after his birthday, a crazy farewell party was held at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA’. “Fest”. It was a legendary night that will be passed down in Japanese metal history as the first event to connect the otherworld and this world, with a ghost appearing to be the person himself appearing on stage as a subject.
10 years have passed since then, and “YOKO Fest” is back on what would have been a 60th birthday party had he been alive! The participating bands will be announced at any time, so please look forward to it.
