“VIVA LA ROCK”, a rock festival held every Golden Week at Saitama Super Arena, has officially announced the holding of “VIVA LA ROCK 2025”!
In 2025, it will be held for four days on May 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, using Saitama Super Arena in full-scale “stadium mode.”
At the same time as the announcement of the event, we began accepting applications for “Saitama Prefecture Limited Super Advance Tickets” for residents of Vivara’s home prefecture, Saitama. The price is great because it is “limited to Saitama prefecture and super advance sale.”
The participating artists and various events will be announced from time to time. Please pay attention to the 12th “VIVA LA ROCK”, which will be held for 7 months!

VIVA LA ROCK 2025 will be held during Golden Week in 2025!
The event will be held for four days, May 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th, and the venue will be Saitama Super Arena.
The previous VIVA LA ROCK in 2024 was positioned as the 11th event = “10+1”, and we are determined to make it an event that will surpass the 10th milestone and take a new step toward the next 10 years. It was held under the banner of Thanks to all of you, we were able to sell out all days, the fastest ever, with 112,000 people attending, and if you include the outdoor free area “VIVA LA GARDEN,” 300,000 people were able to enjoy Viva La Garden. I did. This was the first time that the event had sold out all day since expanding to a four-day stadium mode event in 2019. What’s more, this year, on average, more than 65% of people purchased Vivara tickets for the first time. After the coronavirus pandemic, I realized the happy fact that new music fans are coming to the venue again, and with each successive event, VIVA LA ROCK is becoming more and more recognized by a large number of people. I once again felt a strong sense of gratitude for being able to grow into a festival that people can look forward to and trust.
I will never forget the joy and enthusiasm that filled the venue throughout the four days. Thank you so much to everyone who participated and for creating an irreplaceable and wonderful experience together!
Armed with that experience, I will be heading to Vivara for the 12th time. Of course, it will be held in full scale in stadium mode next year as well. We updated this year with the feeling that “Because it’s a rock festival where music and you are the main characters, and because it’s a festival where people who love music and love it irresistibly come together, we want to make the music shine above all else.” However, we will continue to work hard on the sound environment that has received praise from so many people, and we would like to share with everyone the live music experience that can only be had at an arena with no volume restrictions. Of course, I want to address issues that need improvement based on what I learned this year, and I also want to take on new challenges.
While firmly preserving the appeal of rock festivals as places where you can feel the freedom of music to the fullest, we also need to do more to become a festival that can play a part in the cross-over of various cultures. I want to explore it. Meetings for this purpose have already begun. There is a lot to think about and do. But personally, I’m very excited.
The 12th Vivara will also kick off with the customary “Saitama Prefecture Limited Super Advance Ticket” reception. This is a pre-sale ticket that has been in place since the beginning, and is only available to residents of Vivara’s home, Saitama Prefecture, at a super special price. Of course, it’s cheaper than buying for 3 days, and it’s even cheaper than buying for 3 days…! Golden Week is Vivara! If you are a music fan living in Saitama Prefecture, or if you live in Saitama Prefecture but have yet to experience Vivara, please take this opportunity to purchase one.
In 2025, children under elementary school age will be able to enjoy Vivara free of charge when accompanied by a guardian.
By the way, Saitama Super Arena will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2025 (congratulations, Tama Ari!).
This is a wonderful super arena that boasts one of the world’s largest movable systems, where not only Vivara but also many artists have performed famously and passionately, and many artists dream of performing one-man at this venue. In 2020, which was the 20th anniversary, it coincided with the declaration of a state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic, so it was not possible to hold the event at Tamaari, but for the 25th anniversary next year, Vivara would like to celebrate the anniversary together and make it exciting. I think so.
Vivara is announced too early every year! This is often talked about (lol), but seven months really flies by. Together with everyone who loves music and rock festivals, we will do our best to create a Vivara that is a step forward from this year’s Vivara. I hope that everyone will be able to enjoy encountering a lot of music over the next seven months and pay attention to Vivara’s progress.
See you next May at VIVA LA ROCK 2025 at Yasaitama Super Arena!
