We have announced the first lineup of artists for the 12th VIVA LA ROCK 2025.
I’m also really happy to be able to announce all these wonderful artists as performers. Even though it’s only November, it’s already been announced! Some may say that, and in fact, the booking has not been completed at this time. In fact, I’m still in the process of making reservations and thinking about what kind of Vivara I’ll make next year. We are planning to have close to 100 artists perform again next year, and we plan to announce them every month from now until spring.
There is a reason why Vivara announces the performing artists from an early stage. One is that we want everyone to feel the process of shaping the next VIVA LA ROCK, and we want to be excited about the event together. Another reason, and this is the main reason, is that by announcing the lineup little by little from an early stage, we hope to create more opportunities for people to experience the music of the performing artists. is.
Many of the artists announced this time will be performing at VIVA LA ROCK for the first time. Some of you reading this may say, “I haven’t really listened to this artist’s music very deeply yet.” Please give it a listen. Festivals are places to encounter music. Vibara wants to create as many opportunities as possible for you to discover music that is new to you. Along with the announcement of the first round, we have started the first advance sale of tickets.
Regarding ticket prices, we have increased them more than ever. This is the second price increase after raising prices once during the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, this issue was discussed last year, and after much consideration, we decided to keep the price unchanged for the 2024 event, but production costs have been rising in recent years due to factors such as rising prices and labor costs. So, we decided to raise the price at this timing. I hope you understand.
For children under elementary school age, the 2025 event will remain unchanged, and up to one child per parent will be able to participate for free if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We have also started recruiting restaurants to open at Vivara. This was a new attempt to expand the VIVA LA GARDEN lineup starting in 2024, but it was worth it, as this year’s VIVA LA GARDEN attracted more shops than ever before, expanding the enjoyment of food. I think I was able to do that. We are looking forward to receiving applications from many food and beverage vendors in 2025.
