We have announced that this year’s 17th “Inazuma Rock Festival 2025” will be held for two days on September 20th and 21st at Karasuma Peninsula Lawn Square in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture!
In addition, we will donate a total of 2,649,378 yen, including a portion of the proceeds from last year’s “Inazuma Rock Festival 2024” (2,500,000 yen) and the 149,378 yen raised at the venue for Lake Biwa environmental conservation. Donated to the Mother Lake Shiga Support Fund.
Furthermore, on the same day, they paid a courtesy visit to Kusatsu Mayor Wataru Hashikawa at Kusatsu City Hall and Moriyama Mayor Takashi Morinaka at Moriyama City Hall, and donated 500,000 yen to each city. Inazuma Rock Festival, one of Japan’s largest large-scale outdoor live events, started in 2009 with Nishikawa as its founder, and is held every year on the Karasuma Peninsula in Kusatsu City, Shiga Prefecture, with the theme of preserving Lake Biwa’s water quality and regional development. This event attracts attention every year, with performers from a wide range of genres, including not only musicians but also idols, comedians, and local characters. Last year, it was held for two days, and 94 artists and performers performed in the paid area “Raijin Stage” and the free areas “Fujin Stage” and “Ryujin Stage”, with a total of 95,000 people over the two days. mobilized the audience.
“Inazuma Rock Festival 2025” is scheduled to be held for two days, September 20th and 21st, at the Karasuma Peninsula Lawn Plaza, located west of the Shiga Prefectural Lake Biwa Museum. Nishikawa will also celebrate his 55th birthday on September 19th, the day before this year’s Inazuma event.
