“Kishidan Expo 2024” will be held at Makuhari Messe!
First held as a festival in 2012, “Kishidan Expo” has been held at Sodegaura Seaside Park in Chiba Prefecture in September every year, but this year the date and venue have been moved and it will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture in November. Performing artists and ticket information will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned!

Kishidan Expo was held independently in 2003 and 2006, and changed to a festival style in 2012.
Starting from a place where I didn’t know what was going on, I’ve been learning from and being influenced by a wide variety of music festivals, from mega events to local events to artist-led and sponsored events, and it’s been 10 years since I’ve been at a tortoise pace.
Little by little, we have penetrated the local community, and the number of companies, governments, local governments, and restaurants that have understood and cooperated with us has increased, and we have experienced firsthand the importance and preciousness of “continuing”. .
However, it has been far from smooth sailing over the past 10 years, and despite being plagued by bad weather like every year, we have somehow managed to hold the event with all our might. However, in 2019, a large typhoon hit Chiba Prefecture, and the following year, the new coronavirus made landfall, and I thought everything would finally be over…However, I still received support from many people and the inherent difficulty of dying. We persevered on the edge of the ring, and from the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs and the bases loaded, we were able to hold the event online, and in 2022, we were able to return to the venue for the first time in three years.
“Miracles don’t have to wait, they have to happen.”
This word eventually became our slogan.
Despite all our efforts, we had to postpone the event last year in 2023.

I felt extremely regretful about this situation, but strangely enough, this period also served as an opportunity for me to look back on the Kishidan Expo and to face it head-on.

Some people may find it bland.
The scorching sun in Boso, the chilly afternoons, and damp sneakers while planting rice are all memories I cherish so much that I want to embrace them.
