“DEZERT Presents SUMMER PARTY ZOO 2025” will be held at Zepp Haneda (TOKYO) on August 2nd. In addition to appearing on MUCC, AKi, and DEZERT, artists participating in the session band for “Nobara Dan – Blooms Tonight!” and “YOSHIAKI with Friends – And the Shining Ultra Summer Session” have been announced, attracting attention. Finally, the participating artists for “VISUAL Suginami ~So…90s We Are Back then” which was reportedly being booked at an extremely rapid pace has been announced!
The one-night special session, which respects the visual kei of the 90s, will feature nine super-sized artists, including MUCC (MUCC), Gala (Mary), Tazawa Takasuke (Waive/Rayflower/fuzzy knot), guitar (MUCC), JiMMY (MAMA.), seek (Psycho le Cému) on bass, Yoshida Toru (DISCO VOLANTE) on keyboards, Murata Kazuhiro and SORA (DEZERT) on drums.
Needless to say, this session band was formed by Miya. The band name written as “Suginami” is a popular choice for Miya, and various session bands have been formed up until now. As the name of the session band suggests, it seems that artists who spent their youth in the 1990s are planning to perform mainly songs that colored the era. He is still thinking about the songs he performs, but it also contains information that the set list will be filled with Miya’s youth. It looks like it will be a live performance that will give you a feel for the atmosphere of that time.
This reveals the full picture of the three session bands. However, there are still many things that have yet to be revealed this year’s “SUMMER PARTY ZOO 2025”. It is said that advance ticket reservations will be announced one after another by June 3rd, when advance ticket reservations begin, but I’d like to wait for more news while imagining what will really unfold.
