WHITESNAKE is headed by David Coverdale, the great vocalist who has left his name in rock history. The luxurious live box set “Access All Areas: Live” consisting of eight CDs, condensed of their greatest charms, the finest rock live performance, has been decided to be released on May 14th as a Japanese version with domestic import edition!
This 8-disc CD box set, which will be released overseas on April 25th, comes with eight live albums featuring the latest remastered 2025 sound sources, as well as detailed English liner notes based on the latest interview with David Coverdale, a booklet featuring a number of valuable photos, and a special poster. In addition, the Japanese version will be released with a separate booklet featuring complete translations of the English liner notes and lyrics/dialogues.
Following the 2024 six-disc CD box set “Into The Light: The Solo Albums,” which was released in 2024, which has been reborn as a work under the name WHITESNAKE, the latest in the WHITESNAKE box series, “Access All Areas: Live,” which will be released in 2024, and have all been released as solo works, but just like previous box sets, all songs have been remastered in 2025, making it a work that allows you to enjoy their finest rock performances with a clearer sound image.
Details of each work are as follows.
CD1, “LIVE… IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT”
In addition to David Coverdale, the album features Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach on guitar, Timothy Drury on bass, Marco Mendoza on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums from the 2004 Hammersmith Apollo performance in London, with Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach on guitar, Timothy Drury on bass, Marco Mendoza on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums.
CD2 & 3, “LIVE… IN THE SHADOW OF THE BLUES”
Contains carefully selected live performances from the 2006 world tour. In addition to David Coverdale, the members are Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach on guitars, Timothy Drury on keyboards, Uriah Duffy on bass, and Tommy Aldridge on drums.
CD4 & 5, “MADE IN JAPAN”
This book features the headliner performance of “LOUD PARK” held in Japan in 2011. The CD4 contains live performance sound sources from “LOUD PARK”, and the CD5 contains valuable performance sound sources from when checking the sound. The band’s lineup includes David Coverdale, Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach on guitars, Michael Devin on bass, Brian Tichy on drums, and Brian Ruedy on keyboards.
CD6, “MADE IN BRITAIN”
This live album captures the live performances of David’s British tour from the 2011 “Forevermore Tour” in his hometown. The band’s lineup includes David Coverdale, guitarists Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach, drummer Brian Tichy, bassist Michael Devin, and keyboardist Brian Ruedy.
CD7, “THE WORLD TOUR”
This also includes carefully selected performances from the 2011 “Forevermore Tour” series, which were held around the world. The band’s lineup includes performances in the same lineup as “MADE IN JAPAN” and “MADE IN BRITAIN.”
CD8, “THE PURPLE TOUR”
This book features tours from the album “The Purple Album,” which was released in 2015 and covers songs from the third season of DEEP PURPLE, which was the starting point of David Coverdale’s brilliant career, under the name WHITESNAKE. The live music is based on David Coverdale, with Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra on guitar, Tommy Aldridge on drums, Michael Devin on bass, and Michele Luppi on keyboards.
