Halsey creates a collaboration with Amy Lee (EVANESCENCE)! "Hand That Feeds," a new song written for the film "Ballerina: The World of John Wick" has been released!

Halsey has released her long-awaited new song “Hand That Feeds,” in a collaboration with EVANESCENCE front woman Amy Lee today, May 9th!

This song is an original song written for the world-famous spinoff film “Balerina: The World of John Wick” series, “Barriera: The World of John Wick.” The cast includes a gorgeous cast including Ana de Armas, Keanu Reeves, and Norman Reedus, and the show is scheduled to be released in Japan in August 2025.

“Hand That Feeds” is a song that combines the alternative sound unique to Halsey with Amy Lee’s dark, heavy rock worldview. The teaser post that was recently released on social media has received a huge response from fans of both artists.

Halsey also publicly declared himself a big fan of EVANESCENCE. Last year they also released Amy Lee-inspired song “Lonely Is The Muse.” Furthermore, ahead of the release of the album The Great Impersonator, Halsey released photos of herself as 18 artists she respects. One of them is Amy Lee, who posted a photo on social media that recreates the cover of her iconic album, Fallen. Halsey praised her as “My original OG dark rock queen,” and also shared a photo of her wearing an EVANESCENCE T-shirt when she was a child. This collaboration was truly a moment of return to the roots for the person himself.

Halsey is scheduled to start a nationwide tour with a performance in San Francisco tomorrow, May 10th. As they tour the West Coast, there will also be a special co-headline performance with EVANESCENCE at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on May 14th. Attention is focused on the miraculous collaboration between the two charismatic players who lead the music scene.
