US alternative rock stalwart QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE (hereafter referred to as QOTSA) has decided to release a new video concert film, “Alive In The Catacombs,” on June 5th, via streaming or download! The trailer for the main story has also been released!

“Alive In The Catacombs” was filmed/recorded in July 2024 last year, and captures QOTSA, which you’ve never seen or heard before. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, truly one-of-a-kind experience, and is reconstructed and presented by carefully selected set lists from the band’s song catalogue to catacombs (catacombs). As a result, the unprecedented figure of QOTSA emerges – the band performs surrounded by millions of human bones in a very intimate atmosphere. Josh Homme (Vo/Gt) commented that he “played in front of the largest audience ever.”
All aesthetic judgments and performances, including the selection, composition, and instrumental composition, are carried out with respect to the catacombs, and their ambient sounds (dripping water, resonance, natural resonance) and dark, majestic lighting further enhance the music experience.
