RISE AGAINST will release its first new album, "Ricochet" in four years, on August 15th! The music video for the lead single "I Want It All" has been released!

RISE AGAINST has decided to release their first new album in four years, “Ricochet,” from Loma Vista Recordings on August 15th!

This 12 songs are included and is produced by Grammy Award-winning Catherine Marks (BOYGENIUS/FOALS/MANCHESTER ORCHESTRA/ST. VINCENT), and is mixed by Alan Moulder (NINE INCH NAILS/PARAMORE/QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE/THE KILLERS).

Ricochet has a heavy sound, but it is a work that focuses on the spirit that leads to positive change. The album’s lead single, “I Want It All,” was also released, and the music video was released!

Vocalist and frontman Tim McIlrath commented, “Ricochet is about our collective interconnections. We started out with the title track of the album, which means we all — whether we like it or not — can’t leave the same room. Everything you do affects someone, everything you throw affects the next person. We are connected to other countries and other economies, and we are connected to illegal immigrants. We have to do with every decision our leaders make. Everything has a huge ripple effect. That idea is the backbone of the album.”

The single “I Want It All” is said to portray the inner battle between making art, maintaining autonomy and meeting the rapidly changing demands of attention. Through the album Ricochet, RISE AGAINST delves deep into the healing from the community and the chain reaction of our words and actions. With much of the world being designed to feel like there is always a state of emergency, band members Tim McIlrath (Vo/Gt), Joe Principe (Ba/Vo), Zach Blair (Gt/Vo) and Brandon Barnes (Dr) are urging them to not just survive, but to unite to save them.
