“Alive In Paris And Before” and “Alive In The Catacombs” are independent works, yet they create a clear arc of narrative. This special documentary depicts the behind-the-scenes scenes of the turbulent events that took place over the days leading up to the Catacombs performance. This candid portrays behind the scenes during a very difficult time for the band, when Josh Homme (Vo/Gt)’s urgent health issues forced them to postpone the remaining dates for “The End is Nero Tour.” The record gives even deeper background and meaning to the moment of victory engraved in Alive In The Catacombs. The documentary shows the band’s most fragile and uncertain times, while the live footage carries the most epic and victory moments in QOTSA’s career history.
