ORBIT CULTURE, a rising star of Melodic Death Metal, who will make his first visit to Japan with “LOUD PARK 25”, has announced that he will release his latest title, “Death Above Life,” on October 3rd, the first transfer to Century Media!
They also released their latest single, album title track, and released a music video!

ORBIT CULTURE is a four-member group from Sweden, who has emerged with shocking albums one after another, including 2020’s Nija and 2023’s Descent. They have worked on stage with bands such as IN FLAMES, SLIPKNOT and TRIVIUM, and have refined their live performance skills.
ORBIT CULTURE frontman Niklas Karlsson uses a different set of death and clean voices to bring the refined songs to life. “The record represents a change, a new beginning,” says Niklas. From the album’s scorching hot “Inferna,” to the fang-baring title track and the final song, “The Path I Walk,” it’s clear they’re in their best shape. Their soundscapes are characterized by their cinematic and dramatic soundscapes. “Composers like Hans Zimmer (Dune, Interstellar) and Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings) have had a big influence on the band, much more than any metal composed today. Our dream is to make an orchestral record for ORBIT CULTURE and create a personal version of S&M (METALLICA’s)” Niklas said.
This album was produced by the band themselves, and was produced by Buster Odeholm (VILDHJARTA/HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH/THROWN). “Death Above Life” is a work that shows the “now” and “future” of metal, and is also an important step towards the next evolution for ORBIT CULTURE.
