PassCode will be in charge of the opening theme song for the second season of the TV anime "SHY"! Their first new song in about a year, "WILLSHINE", will be released! The latest artist photo has also been released!

PassCode has announced that their first new song in about a year, “WILLSHINE,” will be released on various music distribution sites from July 9th, and that they will release a new single on September 11th!

The song will be the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime adaptation of the hero comic “SHY,” which has a total circulation of over 1.4 million copies and is currently being serialized in “Weekly Shonen Champion.” This will be PassCode’s first TV anime tie-up in about six years, since their signature song “Ray.”

The first limited edition of the new single comes with a Blu-ray/DVD containing the complete recording (8 songs in total) of the enthusiastic live performance at the festival “Zephyren 10th Anniversary AVEST project Kodou” held at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium in February of this year.

Furthermore, they announced that they will be transferring to a new label “MoooD Records” within Bandai Namco Music Live from this release. The new song “WILLSHINE” will be the first single since the transfer. Member Minami commented, “After achieving our goal of performing at Nippon Budokan, we decided to transfer to Bandai Namco Music Live in order to move on to our next destination. We are not afraid to evolve, and we want to continue challenging ourselves so that we can remain a group that is loved for a long time.” They vowed to aim for further growth in their new environment.
