The label “maximum10”, which has produced bands ahead of the times in Japan, including FACT, MUSE, SIGUR RÓS, THE PRODIGY, and more, has announced that it will be releasing a compilation CD “MAYDIE!!” for the first time in a while!
The first installment of the “MAYDIE!!” series is borderless curation that focuses not only on live houses but also on dance floors, and in addition to bands affiliated with the label, 80KIDZ, FIVE NEW OLD, MY FIRST STORY and more will be participating. The second installment was based on the theme of “Nu-Skool Melodic Hardcore”, with FOR A REASON, LEXT, SHADOWS, The Coastguards, waterweed, and others taking part.
And this third installment will feature two new songs from POP DISASTER, sfpr and waterweed, with the theme of compiling yourself (the label) themselves. This is the first time that SFPR will be released since 2014, and the first time that POP DISASTER will be released since 2016. Currently, there are no plans to stream digitally, and it will first be released on CD only. Details such as the release method will be announced at a later date.
At the same time, the first pre-view video was uploaded on YouTube, and the new SFPR song, “Club at 4th,” was released!

The sound, which combines electro and rock, symbolized by the 2010s, is still unique and still alive today. The “Language Destruction” is also integrated into the lyrics, and the mercy of the human dignity is not even a bit of confusion, making it a work that is typical of them.
The artwork was created by Yuzuru Namiki, a ally of maximum 10. The title is written in a free font by the designer “Yuta ONE”, which maximum 10 admires.
In August, release events with the same “MAYDIE” will be held in Osaka and Tokyo. Tickets are on sale now!
