Progressive metal unit ARCH ECHO has released the first installment of the EP trilogy series “3X3”, “3X3: Catalyst,” today, June 27th!
The music video for the song “Magic!” will also premiere tomorrow, June 28th at 1am!

ARCH ECHO has made even more progress by delivering impressive performances on its US tour with INTERVALS and VOLA. This time, “3X3” has been further refined with their high-energy progressive metal, technical fusion, and playful sound, which are synonymous with them. By releasing this trilogy series in stages, the aim is to continue delivering new songs to fans while shining a solid spotlight on each piece.
Joey Izzo (Key) talks about the film: “I’m excited to be able to bring in new ARCH ECHO music again in this way.” Can we still create something new for ourselves? “I’ve had this thought, but I’m really pleased with the finished music. I’m looking forward to exploring how we all have grown over the past few years and further explored it in music.”
Joe Calderone (Ba) continues: “The first writing sessions from which all members met up for the first time in about seven years, and the volume of coffee, Catalyst is a truly spark of creativity. Each song is full of vitality, each with a strong personality. It’s been a while since I’ve been looking forward to this release.”
The second installment of the “3X3” series following this work will be released within 2025, and the third installment, the final chapter, will be released in spring 2026. And once all three are now available, it is planned to be released as a physical album.
