Waterweed, a melodic hardcore band that has been active both domestically and internationally, signed with the prestigious British label “Lockjaw Records” and has appeared on the main stage of the “Manchester Punk Festival” in April this year along with STRUNG OUT and BELVEDERE, has released their new song “Refuse” on YouTube!

This is a song that will be included in the compilation of the “maximum10” label, “maximum10 compiles ourselves. MAYDIE.3”, which he also belongs to. Currently, no digital distribution including subscriptions will be held, and pre-orders for label compilation, which will be released on CDs on the distro “HOLIDAY! RECORDS”, will begin on July 22nd. Artists Nikon, POP DISASTER, sfpr, Jugojo, and more will be participating.
In August, a release event with the same “MAYDIE” was held in Osaka and Tokyo, and in addition to waterweed, Nikon, POP DISASTER and sfpr appeared.
Waterweed itself is set to appear in October for the Tokyo-Han Finals of “Departures TOUR”, which has been going on for over a year since June 2024, and has also been confirmed to appear in “ROCK-O-RAMA-THE END”, hosted by his ally FACT!
