Former FEVER 333 member Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison form a new band "HOUSE OF PROTECTION"! 1st single "It's Supposed To Hurt" released & MV released!

NIGHT VERSES drummer Aric Improta and former THE CHARIOT guitarist Stephen Harrison have announced the launch of HOUSE OF PROTECTION, their new project after leaving hardcore band FEVER 333!

Each brings together the sonic power of punk, electronica, and hardcore, furthering their extensive experience as live musicians. Grounded in a shared vision of creating a space for self-expression and limitless creativity, the band’s ethos culminates in their ambitious sound and ferocious visuals.

Aric Improta talks about the meaning of the band name “HOUSE OF PROTECTION” as follows.

“‘Protection’ is specifically a song by MASSIVE ATTACK, and I was reading their biographies when we started the project and was very inspired by them. The full name is a song by MASSIVE ATTACK that was inspired by us as well as our creativity and ideas. , because we wanted to build something that would also protect the people who come to the show.

HOUSE OF PROTECTION releases their debut single “It’s Supposed To Hurt”! Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison sing for the first time in their careers, discovering voices they didn’t even know they had. The wild anthem was produced by Jordan Fish (ex-BRING ME THE HORIZON), and the official music video, which captures the energy of HOUSE OF PROTECTION with shots filled with extreme chaos, was also released at the same time! Regarding the origins of the single, the band said:

“‘It’s Supposed To Hurt’ was the first song I wrote, and some of the vocals came from early improvisations. When we started the project, we had no idea what it was going to sound like or where it was going. We had never sung before, but we knew what kind of energy we wanted to create sonically. I decided that no matter how long it took, I would work on it until it felt right. Fortunately, this song quickly answers many of those questions. “
