POP DISASTER, the band that laid the foundation for pop punk in Japan, releases new song "555"! Included on the "maximum10" label compilation, and in August will be appearing at a label-sponsored Tokyo-Osaka event!

Pop punk is once again attracting hot attention as the 2020s. POP DISASTER, the band that led the scene as the flag bearer, has released their new song, “555” on YouTube!

They have been highly praised by popular overseas artists such as PARAMORE and NEW FOUND GLORY, and have had a huge influence on many pop punk bands. This time, looking back on my own trajectory, I played it in Japanese, not a sticking-up to the glory of the past, but a simple future that is on the line that connects the past and present. I sang about the joys of life that are not just about being strong and big, but about wishes that may be just a small one, and the certainty that reaches you with a stride that is typical of you, and the reassuring strength that exists in everyday life.

This work is scheduled to be included in the compilation of the compilation “maximum10 compiles ourselves. MAYDIE.3”, a compilation sponsored by “maximum10”, which also features POP DISASTER, and pre-orders for exclusive use “HOLIDAY! RECORDS” just started the other day.

Release events have also been decided in Osaka and Tokyo in August, and in addition to POP DISASTER, Nikon, sfpr and waterweed will appear. Tickets are on sale now.
