HOUSE OF PROTECTION is a new project by Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison, former members of FEVER 333. Since announcing their start, they have released two high-energy songs, and now they have released their third single, “Being One,” on Red Bull Records!
Produced by former BRING ME THE HORIZON member Jordan Fish, this anthemic dance track is a blend of euphoric melodies, drum and bass rhythms, and electronic elements. The sound is a departure from the harder previous album “Learn To Forget,” but it’s a song that fuses their versatility as musicians with the explosive energy that many listeners expect!
Aric has this to say about the song:
“I’ve always loved playing drums and bass, so[producer]Jordan and I clicked immediately on the rhythmic ideas. Overall, Stephen’s vocals feel like a big step up from before and gave us a new dynamic to move forward. This song is definitely made to be listened to on long nighttime drives, which we talked about a lot when writing the lyrics and shooting the music video.”
The music video was directed by Kevin Garcia (SPIRITBOX/BUSH/TINASHE) and evokes the fast-paced, frenetic scenes from the 1981 classic film “Koyaanisqatsi,” with the group singing on a buoy in the middle of the ocean and drumming on a carousel at an amusement park.
