LIKE A KID, an alternative rock/emo band that has been active across genres, supporting BROADSIDE, IN HER OWN WORDS, and CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK!’s Japan tours in 2023, has announced that they will release their sixth digital single, “BANDAID,” tomorrow, July 27th!
“BANDAID” is a song that will be listened to comfortably in live houses and clubs, incorporating the essence of Jersey clubs while being based on their characteristic emo/screamo. This song was produced based on the recent past events that Kento (Vo) himself experienced, and the transience that exudes from his singing voice speaks of its delicacy. The sound engineer for this work was TSVNAKYO SOUND, where band member Kimura (Gt/Cho) works.
In addition, ahead of the release, a music video directed by Takahashi Kazuki has been released!

They will also be holding their own event “CounterAttack Vol.2” at their home venue, Shibuya GARRET Udagawa, on September 11th. Easycore band from Osaka. Launcher No.8will be invited as guests.
