Tokyo-based Japanese folk metal band BELLFAST will release their third album, “The Warrior Celt,” their first in about seven years, on October 23rd through KING RECORDS!
While sticking to being an orthodox heavy metal band with twin guitars, the band’s unique sound, which boldly features violins and flutes and has a strong longing for folk music, shows a more dramatic maturity than ever before in this album. In addition to the many melodic folk metal tunes that are typical of BELLFAST, they also boldly challenge themselves to take a step forward in various directions and take on new approaches. The high skills and fresh expressiveness of the new members also play a part, and the new BELLFAST’s fresh colors are beautifully projected around the unchanging basic axis of being faithful to their roots.
The mastering of this album was done by the renowned Finnish engineer Svante Forsbäck, who has worked on many masterpieces including those by RAMMSTEIN, VOLBEAT, APOCALYPTICA, AMORPHIS, ENSIFERUM, FINNTROLL, KORPIKLAANI, and TURISAS, and has even been nominated for a Grammy Award. This album shows off his outstanding skills to the fullest!
