MÅNESKIN bassist Victoria De Angelis will be releasing her debut single “Get Up Bitch! Shake Ya Ass (With Anitta)”, a collaboration with Brazilian superstar Anitta, on August 30th!

The debut single is a blistering techno tune, a fast-paced, sensory-boosting, spirited techno stomper. Victoria draws inspiration from baile funk to create a gritty, edgy, driving techno that complements Anitta’s impassioned vocals.

While touring with MÅNESKIN, Victoria further explored her love of electronic art. Moving from nightly live rock concerts to after-parties, she discovered an inherent connection between her bass groove and the club’s kick drum. Embracing her own creative freedom, she soon began DJing occasionally at MÅNESKIN live concert after-parties, which eventually led to the launch of her solo DJ project.

Its driving ambition was for people to dance and party freely without hesitation, embracing gender fluidity and the punk spirit of respecting or breaking the rules at will. Victoria blends their underground music roots and influences with their natural chic and aesthetic sensibilities to create a fusion that translates into a sweaty, hyper-energetic club experience.

The collaboration with Anitta, a pop star who appeared like a comet in the Latin world and is known as the “Queen of Brazilian Pop,” will be met with many surprises. Please look forward to the release on August 30th!
