To mark the milestone of their 35th anniversary as a band, Ningen Isu has announced that they will be releasing a live video work titled “35 Years of Band Life: Mystery and Fantasy” in two formats, Blu-ray and DVD, on November 13th!
During the final performance of the spring solo tour, Shinji Washima (Gt/Vo) hinted at the possibility of a film, saying, “There are a lot of cameras set up today, so maybe we’ll see it on film before the end of the year!” Since then, there have been no announcements of a film release, so this official announcement is a relief for all hard rock fans, but it will no doubt be a long-awaited live film, as it will be the first video of a Ningen Isu solo live performance since the release of “The Movie Ningen Isu: Thirty Years of Band Life” on June 23, 2021.
The video work to be released this time will feature a complete recording (approximately 120 minutes) of the live performance at EX THEATER ROPPONGI in Tokyo, the final show of the spring solo tour “35 Years of Band Life – The Bizarre Third Movement”, which was sold out on April 24th of this year, and will be a double feature that will include not only the most recent live footage but also valuable bootleg live footage from the past (approximately 80 minutes).
For those who have already been to a Ningen Isu live show, we hope you will feel that excitement and emotion once again, and for those who have not yet seen them live, we hope you will check them out as a way to get to know the cutting edge of Japanese hard rock today!
