BON JOVI has released a version of the song “The People’s House” from their latest album “Forever” featuring the 2023 Grammy Award New Artist nominated duo THE WAR AND TREATY!

BON JOVI, who celebrated their 40th anniversary this year, released their latest album “Forever” in June. The version of the song “The People’s House” from this album, featuring the husband-wife duo THE WAR AND TREATY, who were nominated for the 2023 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, was released today, August 30th, and the lyric video was also released!

The song sings, “This is a home for the people / Across the country from the west coast to the east coast / Where the rugged mountains are our walls / And the city streets are our corridors,” and the lyric video features the White House and the colors blue and red, a reference to the US presidential election scheduled for this November.

THE WAR AND TREATY’s collaboration with Zach Bryan, “Hey Driver,” reached the top 20 of the US singles chart, and they are the first black duo to be nominated by the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. They are also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2023, and are a popular duo who are currently in the process of making a biographical film.

In February of this year, when Jon Bon Jovi received the MusiCares Person of the Year award, which is given to one person each year in recognition of artistic achievement in the music industry and dedication to charitable efforts, THE WAR AND TREATY performed a cover of Bon Jovi’s “I’ll Be There For You” at the ceremony.
