HOT MILK releases new song “Where Does The Light Get In?” and music video!

HOT MILK, a four-piece emo power pop band from Manchester fronted by twin vocalists Han Mee and Jim Shaw, are back! Their first new song since the release of their critically acclaimed debut album, A Call To The Void, “Where Does The Light Get In?” has been released today, along with a music video!

“After such great pain, we are never the same, we must come out of the darkness to live again,” says Han Mee. A poignant poem.

Following the release of the album which reached the UK Top 40, HOT MILK reached new heights both at home and abroad, including three UK tours, headline festival slots, a global tour and over 100 million streams. But despite the rising tide of professional success, personal sadness began to emerge.

Han Mee said: “This song is my own beast, born out of great anguish and pain. Our band rarely touches on matters of the heart, but after being pushed to a place last year where I never want to return, I had to write this song. It was needed.”

Musically, strings and a choir are added, making it a melodic and emotional rock number!
