Rock legend THE DARKNESS will release their eighth studio album “Dreams On Toast” on March 28, 2025, to fascinate and amaze people once again!

Dreams On Toast marks a bold new chapter for the band. With their signature blend of glamorous rock anthems and scathing lyrics, the album cements their place at the top of British Rock. With soaring guitar riffs, infectious hooks and a nostalgic yet fresh take on the genre, it will resonate with longtime fans and new listeners alike. “God knows what the world needs right now is some rock sweet rock. And who can argue with us, mere mortals with extraordinary talents? So we got our butts in the sand, thought hard about the music of our time, changing our lives, and crafted 12 hits. Drawing influences from the 70s pop geniuses of Queen and Paul McCartney, the song is an upbeat pop classic, with the band in tip-top form dancing over upbeat piano keys and playful guitar licks. “I woke up in my favourite landscape, the Scottish highland town of Nairn, the morning the inspiration for the lyrics to ‘The Longest Kiss’ came to me. Musically, it’s piano-driven, with the chorus coming from my brother and I. The verses come from songs we’ve been working on for decades. The result is amazing, and we’re all very proud of it,” explains Justin.
