It has been decided that the Blu-ray and DVD of the live film “BABYMETAL LEGEND – 43 THE MOVIE,” which captures the band’s first-ever Okinawa performance at the conclusion of their world tour, “BABYMETAL WORLD TOUR 2023 – 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND – 43,” which was held at the Okinawa Convention Center Exhibition Hall on March 23rd and 24th, 2024, will be released on December 11th!
The live film “BABYMETAL LEGEND – 43 THE MOVIE” was released in cinemas nationwide on August 23, 2024. With its expansive widescreen Cinemascope size and immersive sound, it gives the illusion of being at a live venue. This is BABYMETAL’s first live movie, where you can experience everything from their diverse songs, their unique worldview, the production unique to the tour finale, and their overwhelming performance that has evolved even further on their world tour.
The entire album is made up of live footage, and includes the song “PA PA YA!! (feat. F.HERO)”, which is sure to get you excited, “BxMxC” which shows a new frontier in metal, and “Brand New Day (feat. Tim Henson and Scott LePage)” which shows off a grand worldview. “Metari!! (feat. Tom Morello)” is a representative song of the new BABYMETAL and has accompanied them on their world tour. As a special performance for their first Okinawa performance and the world tour finale, an eisa troupe with drums appeared, and the chants were arranged in an Okinawan version for this performance only. And it is a permanent edition that includes a total of 14 songs, including the anthemic song “Road of Resistance”.
The video products will be released as standard editions (Blu-ray/DVD) for general sale. For the first time in a BABYMETAL video product, in addition to stereo, the Blu-ray will be Dolby Atmos compatible, and the DVD will be 5.1ch compatible.
Additionally, as a THE ONE exclusive item, a limited edition THE ONE will be released in a special box set that includes a Blu-ray, a LIVE ALBUM CD, a postcard set, an acrylic photo frame, and a cassette tape containing the live recording of “Metali!! (feat. Tom Morello) – 43 ver. -” from this work. This product, which is the first for BABYMETAL to include a cassette, is a limited item of 4,300 sets in honor of “LEGEND – 43 (Shisa)”.
