BLUE ENCOUNT’s Dramatunes “Wingman” opening theme “chang(e)” will be released on 10/22 at midnight! CD release will be on 11/6!

The drama “Wingman” is set to start in October 2024, and has already become a hot topic. The opening theme, BLUE ENCOUNT’s new song “chang(e)” will be released on October 22nd at midnight. The CD will also be released on November 6th.

The advance release date is October 22nd, the same day as the first episode of the drama airs on terrestrial TV. We hope you enjoy the song, which is full of the worldview of the drama, along with the drama. In addition, the distribution jacket was also released today. The design is based on the motif of “wings,” which symbolizes the drama.

The CD to be released on November 6th will include a new song, “Prometheus.” “Prometheus” is a melodic number that is unusual for BLUE ENCOUNT these days, full of playfulness in both sound and lyrics, which is also a kind of BLUE ENCOUNT style. The addictive melody and wordplay are complemented by the pleasant singing voice of Shunichi Tanabe (Vo), which is easy on the ears.

The bonus footage includes six songs from the live performance held on December 7th at their hometown Kumamoto Castle Hall, the final performance of their two-man tour “ASSEMBLE A NEW AGE” held last year. This live performance was a memorable one, as it was BLUE ENCOUNT’s dream and goal to play a two-man live performance with a senior band. If you are a fan, you should get your hands on the video of this memorable live performance.

Furthermore, this work, which is the second of three consecutive single releases following the previous work “gifted” that was announced in the recent YouTube live broadcast, also includes a “special application ticket”. If you collect these application tickets that come with “gifted”, “chang(e)”, and the single scheduled for release in winter and apply, you will be invited to the live after party at Tokyo Garden Theater on February 8th next year by lottery.
