Kiko Loureiro's first new album since leaving MEGADETH, which she created with her allies from ANGRA, ``Theory Of Mind'' will be released on November 20th!

Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro, who was active in MEGADETH and ANGRA, will release his new album “Theory Of Mind” on November 20th!

This is his first studio album since “Open Source” released in 2020, and is also his first solo album since leaving MEGADETH last year. Supporting Kiko are Felipe Andreoli (Bas) and Bruno Valverde (Dr), two of his allies from his ANGRA days. Mixing and mastering were handled by Danish engineer Jacob Hansen, who is considered the best in the modern metal scene.

The resulting album is filled with sounds that only Kiko can create, expressing joy, anger, and sorrow with heavy and technical guitar. Although the songs are all instrumental, the expressiveness that makes it seem as if the guitar is singing is amazing.

Kiko has the following to say about this work:

The concept of “Theory of Mind” is by no means new. This is a psychological term first used to describe the uniquely human ability to recognize and interpret the mental states of others. We use it on a daily basis, often unconsciously, to navigate our social lives, to empathize, and to predict what others will think and feel. This becomes even more profound when applied to people who experience life differently, to whom “theory of mind” does not come naturally. For them, gaps in understanding can become bridges to deeper ways of seeing the world. This album attempts to express the complexity of the conflict, beauty, and uncharted territory that comes with understanding the minds of others.
