Bimi will release the live Blu-ray “Bimi Release Party 2024 -Special Box- at Zepp Shinjuku (TOKYO)” on April 9th, which includes the 1st major album “R” and the live performance held today on October 16th. It has been decided that they will be released simultaneously!
The album is scheduled to include 8 to 10 new songs, and the sub-theme will be the sublimation of “27th Club,” which has influenced Bimi’s music activities since her indie days and has sometimes incorporated it into her own songs as the essence. In April, when he will celebrate his 27th birthday, he is working on the theme of presenting and preparing for the scenery that he has focused on in the major scene and the possibilities that lie ahead.
With such a background, the title “R” of the work comes from the words “Reborn”, “Restart”, “Reply”, “Return” and the initial “R” of the English letter “Ryota” of his real name. It is reminiscent of the beginning of a new chapter.
The video product released on the same day will include a documentary of the “Bimi Release Party 2024 -Special Box-” tour in addition to today’s live performance. Details of the album and video products will be revealed in due course, so please look forward to it.
In addition, it has been decided that a tour called “Bimi Release Party Tour 2025 -R-” will be held in 8 cities across the country in support of the album “R”. Although Bimi has held tours in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka in the past, this will be their first time performing in a local city. Even if you are far away and have not been able to attend a live concert, please take this opportunity to listen to Bimi’s music at the venue.
Furthermore, it has been decided that “Bimi Live Galley #04 -Dear 27th-” will be held on April 28th, which is Bimi’s birthday. The sub-theme is “27th Club,” which has been consistently incorporated into Bimi’s music activities and the album “R” project, and director Sachiko Ishimaru, who is also known for writing and directing the stage play “Fullmetal Alchemist.” In charge of general direction. This will be a live performance that shows Bimi’s determination as she turns 27 on the day, so please come and see it at the venue.
