MÅNESKIN bassist Victoria De Angelis released her 2nd solo single “Ratata” today, November 29th!

This song is an intense techno number, similar to his solo debut single “Get Up Bitch! Shake Ya Ass (With Anitta)” released in August, with a thunderous kick drum and rough percussion. It combines syncopation and is propelled with intense energy. The distinctive anthemic Latin vocals and the rushing sound interwoven with hooks draw listeners in.

Recently, Victoria played the song specially in front of fans in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and performed the song for the first time in a unique way by driving the audience around the city in a vintage car and playing the song. To add to the excitement, Victoria’s raw energy sent the audience into a state of ecstasy at a secret pop-up performance held in the city to conclude the event.

“I’m super inspired by the whole South American scene right now! I love the crossover between dance and techno, so ‘Ratata’ features a 4/4 techno kick. and Rio’s Baile Fu. I had a lot of fun experimenting with mixing the percussive elements of funk with Portuguese vocals. I play it all the time in my live sets and it’s always so much fun, so I really wanted to release it and share it with everyone. It was!
