BLOODYWOOD, a band that fuses Indian folk music and heavy metal, has released a new song “Bekhauf Feat. BABYMETAL” featuring BABYMETAL!

BLOODYWOOD is a metal band from India that seamlessly fuses Indian folk instruments and metal to create a destructive sound. He uses traditional Indian instruments such as the percussive power of the dhol, a double-sided drum from India and Pakistan, the melancholic flute, and the tumbi, an Indian one-string guitar, to create a distinctive sound. The combination of Hindi/Punjabi choruses, aggressive rap, ethnic instruments and heavy metal sounds makes BLOODYWOOD a truly unique band.

There’s a clash of cultures in the new song “Bekhauf.” This track combines BLOODYWOOD’s gorgeous, moody vocals/rap and nuances of Indian folk sounds with BABYMETAL’s sweet and melodious vocals. Lightning-fast riffs and ferocious breakdowns will cause mosh pits and non-stop headbanging. The single ‘Bekhauf’ reminds us that hard rock is a universal language, embracing all styles, ethnicities and genders.

The title “Bekhauf” means “fearless” in Hindi. Fear is a choice, and the choice is ours to control our own fear and eliminate the fear that binds us. We were waiting for the best artist to collaborate with for the first time. When the possibility of collaborating with BABYMETAL came up, I knew now was the time. Even though we were all fans of theirs, we were still surprised by the level of synergy they were able to achieve on this song. This song is sung in three languages: English, Hindi, and Japanese. There are parts of BABYMETAL singing in Hindi, but I think the message can be felt regardless of the language. He takes everything to the next level by creating a hybrid video using animation. This is a part of Asian metal history and we are proud to share it with the world

BLOODYWOOD has announced that they will be holding a Japan tour called “RETURN OF THE SINGH – JAPAN TOUR ’25” in May next year, which will tour Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.
