mzsrz released their new single “Blue Side” today!
The whisper-like yet obsessive vocals that ride on the soft, enveloping, transparent track hide a determination that goes beyond being positive just deep within the loneliness. Each line of the lyrics, such as “I’ll crush the sentiments that will one day turn into bubbles deep in my throat,” is like a page in a novel, and it’s like turning the paper over and reading it. The song is a series of surprising moments like this.
The song was written and composed by icica, who plays philosophical words over an alternative rock sound. The emotional feeling that can be gained by looking down on a faint disappointment from a perspective far beyond the laws of physics is noble and deeply moving. Similarly, the song was composed and arranged by Radical Hardcore Clique’s Invaderous, who is also known for their remix work with Namie Amuro and Diplo.
