This information was announced today, December 29th, at the 20th Anniversary Premium Live “THE IDEAL” held at Zepp Nagoya in their hometown of Nagoya.
Exactly 20 years have passed since lynch. performed their first live show at the end of December 2004. Today marks the beginning of the “lynch. 20th ANNIVERSARY PROJECT,” which will be held for one year until the end of 2025, and a passionate live performance was held with fans filling the venue. During the encore after the main part, Hazuki (Vo) announced the contents of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th installments of the project one after another, and the fans erupted in loud applause to celebrate lynch.’s 20th anniversary. . The concert ended with the venue enveloped in a sense of unity as everyone worked together to celebrate Lynch.’s 20th anniversary in 2025.
The third project announced will be a live tour in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka exclusively for fan club members, the fourth will be the release of a 4-disc new album (CD + Blu-ray) commemorating the 20th anniversary, and the fifth will be released next year in 2025. It was a nationwide live tour from April to June 2017.
The fourth 4-disc new album is a deluxe edition consisting of 3 CDs and 1 Blu-ray. It will be a limited edition. A total of 21 songs released by lynch. during their indie days that are now difficult to obtain are newly re-recorded and included. Many of the songs that served as the starting point for lynch. have been vividly revived by the current group, who have evolved over the course of their career. It will be a fresh surprise for fans who have supported Lynch. for a long time, and the 21 songs will be received by users who have recently become new fans as if they were hearing new songs for the first time. The album will also include one new song (newly written) that has been long-awaited by fans, and will also include a Blu-ray containing the music video and making-of footage. Purchase benefits and release commemorative events for this product will be announced at a later date.
The fifth part of the project is a nationwide tour supporting the new album. It includes cities that were not visited on this summer’s tour (Kumagaya, Wakayama, Aomori, Kumamoto, and Kochi).
