The contents of BLUE ENCOUNT’s first original album “Alliance of Quintetto” in about 5 years, which will be released on February 5, 2025, are revealed at once! At the same time, in addition to the jacket photo, new artist photos that will decorate 2025 have also been released!
Each photo was taken in Taipei during the group’s first Asia tour at the end of October last year, and is a very happy photo that gives a glimpse of the close friendship between the four members of BLUE ENCOUNT.
The title of the new album, “Alliance of Quintetto”, represents the “bond of the quintet”. Shunichi Tanabe (Vo/Gt) says, “You, who are listening, are the fifth BLUE ENCOUNT.” The thoughts and songs that each member reached after going through various changes in their circumstances and environment since their previous work have come together to create a single album that is full of masterpieces. He says that he has recorded a wide range of songs, from early impulsive emo-punk songs to body-enveloping ballads, and has gathered songs that he would like to play at live music venues. Another feature is that about 60% of the new songs have English lyrics. The first edition will include numerous music videos and making-of footage that approaches the production of the album, which were not included in the package until now.
In addition, at Sony Music Shop, for the first three days of the New Year, everyone who pre-orders the album “Alliance of Quintetto” will receive a special colored paper with autographs and comments written by the members. Check out the official BLUE ENCOUNT website for details!
