MAYKIDZ will release digital singles “Lights” & “OVERTAKE” for 2 consecutive months with the sound production of “SCRAMBLES” led by Kenta Matsukuma!

MAYKIDZ, a three-piece band consisting of Yuichi Takada (Ba/ELLEGARDEN/MEANING), BEAK (Dr/NICOTINE), and Koichi Kobayashi (Vo/Gt/SUPER FLYING BOY/SAY MY NAME.), has released digital singles for two consecutive months. It has been decided to release it!

“Lights” will be distributed on January 22nd, and “OVERTAKE” will be distributed on February 12th. Both songs were sound-produced by “SCRAMBLES” led by Kenta Matsukuma, and are a work that stands out from other bands in the same genre. “OVERTAKE” has been decided to be a tie-up song for Toyota’s “SUPER FORMULA DIRECTORSCUT.”

Regarding the release of this work, Koichi Kobayashi said, “This time, with the support of SCRAMBLES’ powerful sound, we have finally created a sound source that allows us to express the sounds that are echoing in our heads. It’s a great song, and I want you to listen to the two important starting lineup songs that are already pulling the atmosphere of the live! Also, please come and enjoy our latest sound for the first time in a while! A new artist photo and jacket photo were also released.

Along with the release, a one-man live will be held at GRIT at Shibuya on February 14th. Tickets are on sale now.
