Crystal Lake announces contract with prestigious metal label “Century Media Records”! New single “Blüdgod” released!

Crystal Lake has signed a worldwide contract with the long-established record company Century Media Records and released her latest single, “Blüdgod”!

Crystal Lake is a world-famous Japanese metalcore band that continues to redefine extreme music with its unique blend of live performances honed by countless tours and metalcore/hardcore, and attracts fans around the world with its highly infectious metalcore. Regarding the contract with the prestigious label “Century Media”, the source of the world’s best extreme music, YD, the central figure and guitarist of Crystal Lake, said, “We grew up listening to a lot of bands from Century Media. Just as the previous bands that belonged to the label have built a great history, we are happy to be a part of it and create a new history together.”

Crystal Lake’s latest single “Blüdgod” released in collaboration with Century Media was mixed and mastered by Jeff Dunne (ICE NINE KILLS/KNOCKED LOOSE/MAKE THEM SUFFER/CURRENTS), just like their previous work. Taylor Barber, the vocalist of LEFT TO SUFFER, currently touring with Hanabie, and the vocalist of SYSTEM OF A DOWN bassist Shavo Odadjian’s new band SEVEN HOURS AFTER VIOLET, is also taking part as a guest vocalist on the album.

Crystal Lake’s vocalist John commented on the song’s content, “Blüdgod is a song about how we’ve become slaves to the system. We’re all forced to work hard in the cogs of society in order to make a living, and we’re made to believe there are things we have to sacrifice. But in reality, it’s ourselves that we’re sacrificing to the big corporations – the Blood Gods.”

Fresh from a blast in the US, Crystal Lake will be heading out on a 25-date European tour, starting with the Mosh City Festival in Berlin, Germany on May 31st, and including appearances at some of the world’s biggest music festivals, including Download Festival, Resurrection Fest, and Hellfest! After that, Crystal Lake will begin writing songs, and plans to release her long-awaited latest album in early 2025 through Century Media.
