MR.BIG will be holding the “genuine” final live show, “The BIG Finale! Foever In Our Hearts” at Osaka Castle Hall on February 22nd and at Nippon Budokan on February 25th. The latest single “Forever In Our Hearts” released before the performance was released in Japan, ahead of the world, and a music video was also released!
The new song was written and composed by guitarist Paul Gilbert, and Jay Ruston, who teamed up on his 10th album, Ten, which was released last July, will be featured as the producer. Paul Gilbert received the following comment on the release of this new song:
I visited many cities around the world on my 2023 “Big Finish” tour, and I thought this was my last time playing as MR.BIG every night. At the end of the show, Billy (Sheehan/Ba) would thank the audience in a heartfelt speech, and he often used the phrase “Forever in our hearts.” . After that, when discussions came up about adding two more Japanese shows and making it their final performance, I had a strong desire to add something special to the performance. So I wrote a new song based on the touching speech that Billy gave to his fans. Of course, the song also contains my own memories of Japan and my feelings for the members of MR.BIG. We are pleased to be able to perform a special new song at this last performance. This song was inspired by our fans and I am very grateful that we are connected to you both, both in the past, present and future!
