Fish and Lips Profile

Fish and Lips (commonly known as Fischli) is a three-piece band from Hatogaya, Saitama Prefecture, whose members are all 18 years old.

Their music is characterized by catchy songs that you can’t help but hum along to and a rugged guitar rock sound.

In August 2023, while taking a break from activities due to university entrance exams, he released his first single, “Aitaku Naku Tara.” The straightforward lyrics unique to high school students were well received by Japanese rock fans in their teens and twenties, and the single became a viral hit, ranking 4th on the Spotify viral chart.

The second single “HERO” will be released in January 2024, followed by the third single “Singing Youth Rock” in March.

At the end of April 2024, they were selected to perform at “JAPAN JAM2024,” where their fresh performance as the youngest band in the group became a hot topic. Since then, they have continued to perform at large events such as “TOKYO CALLING,” “Mihodai,” and “Tsutara Rock.”

The latest release, “Continue Singing Youth,” to be released on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, is the first nationwide release and includes the previously released songs “When I Want to See You,” “HERO,” and “Sing Youth Rock,” as well as three new songs for a total of six songs.
