Rapper IO is a member of the hugely popular crew member KANDYTOWN, who announced his sudden suspension of activities in 2023, and is known as a guest appearance in the popular song “Tokyo Kid” of Misora Hibari’s 85th anniversary project, and also known as a judge for “Rap Star Birth.”
Recently, he has shown his talent in a wide range of ways, not only rappers but also video creators, fashion models and photographers.

IO, a rapper from KANDYTOWN, who is a hugely popular crew member who announced his sudden suspension in 2023, and is a guest starring Yo-Sea, a rapper from Okinawa Prefecture, who is probably known to all hip-hop fans. The song “SUNSET” greeted by the song was a huge hit.

The name comes from the local Kojiyamachi. He also worked as graphic design at Creative Collective MADz’s, which he formed in his hometown at the age of 12. He also started his activities under his personal name at the age of 17, and in 2021 he released a collaboration song with ¥ellow Bucks, making a hot topic. In 2023, KEIJU (KANDYTOWN)’s EP “Speed Tape,” which he participated as a songwriter, won number one on the Apple Music charts, and even participated in guest performances by IO (KANDYTOWN) and Shurkn Pap albums, making the most of the scene. He has gained solid trust from artists who run the line. In addition to music, he is also active as a creator, including artwork and music video directions.
