A Dutch DJ/producer, MADDIX is known for its genre-unbound techno rave sound, influenced by big rooms and trances.
2018 was the year he began to sit back and work on music production, and since releasing the legendary track “Ecstasy” in 2019, he has been trying to revamp the EDM scene with intense kicks and acid-based revivals, gradually evolving the sound towards techno and trance.
Most importantly, MADDIX has revived the rave spirit with club and festival audiences, gaining support from many techno artists, including Deborah de Luca, Amelie Lens, Ki/Ki, Umek, Eli Brown, John Summit, Hi-Lo and Lilly Palmer.
After collaborating with his hit singles “Heute Nacht” and “My Gasoline”, collaborations with Hardwell, Umek, KSHMR, Timmy Trumpet, and remixing Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, he has produced many passionate fans around the world. This growth has led to his appearances at major global festivals such as Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Dreamstate, Parookaville, World Club Dome, and Mysteryland, and headlined club gigs around the world.
In partnership with Revealed Recordings, MADDIX’s new record label Extatic (XTTC) was launched in 2023.
With over 500 million streams, garnering 5 million listeners every month on Spotify, ranking number one on Beatport and Spotify editorial playlists multiple times, and being on the 2023 DJ Mag TOP 100 DJ list, he can be said to have created a movement that changes the EDM scene.
