(CEO: Tanahashi Hiroshi) to host a send-off party called “201 Days Until Retirement! Tanahashi Hiroshi @Tokyu Kabukicho Tower 2nd Floor Shinjuku Kabuki Hall” for Tanahashi Hiroshi, who is scheduled to retire at the Tokyo Dome Tournament on January 4, 2026.
Set in this place where a variety of cultures intersect, this facility has set the concept of “make your love a hit,” and has delivered entertainment content in a variety of genres, including music, film, anime, and sports, so that it can be enjoyed by customers both domestically and internationally.
This time, we will be holding a fan event for professional wrestling, a sport that is characterized by its high entertainment and a sense of unity with the audience. Shinjuku Kabuki Hall – Kabuki Yokocho, where you can set up a stage in the center of the store and create a sense of unity between the performers and fans, will provide you with the opportunity to feel entertainment and unity even outside the ring.

Tanahashi Hiroshi
New Japan Pro Wrestling Co., Ltd. 11th CEO
Born on November 13th, 1976 in Ogaki City, Gifu Prefecture. His catchphrase is “Ace,” a talented talent every 100 years. He began wrestling while studying at Ritsumeikan University’s Faculty of Law, and after graduating he entered New Japan Pro Wrestling in 1999, making his debut in October of the same year in a match against Makabe Shinya (now Togi). In 2003, he became the first U-30 indiscriminate weight champion, and was crowned his first title. In 2006, he was crowned the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the highest ranking in the organization at the time. Since then, he has been crowned the same title eight times, marking the most crowned record in history, and during his time as the 56th champion from 2011 to 2012, he achieved the V11 record, the highest number of consecutive defenses at the time. He has also won the Midsummer Strongest Warrior Tournament, “G1 CLIMAX,” three times, and the Tokyo Spo Pro Wrestling Grand Prize MVP four times, and continues to be active as the “ace” of New Japan Pro Wrestling. In December 2023, he became the 11th CEO of New Japan Pro Wrestling Co., Ltd. On October 14th, 2024, after a match at the Ryogoku Kokugikan tournament, he announced his retirement from active play on January 4th, 2026.
