~Nii Prefecture’s Nagaoka Fireworks Live Viewing and the World Edamame Quick Eat Championship “mini” will be held~
Tokyu Kabukicho Tower (hereinafter referred to as this facility), operated by TST Entertainment Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toko Yoshinori), will be holding the “Acchee! Niigata Festival” (hereinafter referred to as this event) on Saturday, August 2, 2025, where you can enjoy Nagaoka fireworks and Edamame in Niigata Prefecture.
Set in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, where diverse people and cultures intersect, this facility has set the concept of “make your love a hit,” and has delivered entertainment content of a variety of genres, from music, films, anime, sports, to Japanese festivals, to ensure that customers both domestically and internationally enjoy themselves.
This time, we will be holding a live viewing of the Nagaoka Festival Fireworks Festival, one of Japan’s three major fireworks, and a mini-catcher of the World Edamame Quick Eat Championship. The live viewing venues, Shinjuku Kabuki Hall – Kabuki Yokocho and JAM17 BAR, will be offering edamame from Niigata Prefecture. Enjoy a live viewing of the Nagaoka Festival Fireworks Festival, while eating delicious edamame from Niigata Prefecture along with beer.
On the same day, Kabukicho Cine City Square in front of the facility will also be performing a showdown of Geta Sora Odori, a Niigata-derived local beer, and a free distribution of Momotaro Ice (※).
We will be holding events that can be enjoyed at Tokyu Kabukicho Tower with the theme of “Niigata x Summer”, including live viewing of the Nagaoka Festival Fireworks Festival in Niigata Prefecture, mini-climbing of the World Edamame Quick Eat Championship, and local gourmet sales.
■World Eater Quick Eat Championship “mini” in Tokyu Kabukicho Tower
The World Edamame Quick Eater Championship is an international event held every year in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, where players compete to quickly eat edamame. The group competes to see how quickly they can be eaten beautifully with a mountain of “Niigata Edamamemori Style” in a sash. In order for various people to enjoy this event on the Kabukicho stage, this time we will be holding a mini-contest where you can compete to see how many grams of 200g per minute. The top 3 players will receive luxurious prizes.
It has been decided that Honma Niyo, who is from Niigata Prefecture, will also be appearing as a special guest for this event.

On the same day, Kabukicho Cine City Square in front of the facility will be selling dances from Niigata called “Geda Sumo Dance,” local beer, and free distribution of local ice cream “Momotaro Ice.”
