Universal Music LLC (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fujikura Hisashi; hereinafter referred to as “Universal Music”) will begin distributing Travis Japan’s new song “Sweetest Tune” on Monday, June 10th.
This song was written as an insert song for the TV Asahi drama Oshidora Saturday “Tokyo Tower,” in which member Genta Matsuda is currently appearing.
The music video was directed by YVNG WING, a Korean director who also directed XG’s “WINTER WITHOUT YOU” and “NEW DANCE”. Filmed in a house studio filled with Travis Japan-related goods, the footage is reminiscent of the shared house they lived in while studying abroad in Los Angeles, with the seven members enjoying their time together. The performance video includes footage of the group’s first dance performance at the Niigata concert of the arena tour “Travis Japan Concert Tour 2024 Road to Authenticity,” which attracted approximately 310,000 people.
To commemorate the release, a distribution campaign is being held where you can receive an original digital booklet and wallpaper images. A listening party will be held at the AWA LOUNGE from 10pm on Monday, June 10th, where the members will appear via voice and chat.
Travis Japan has announced that they will be holding their first world tour, “Travis Japan World Tour 2024 Road to A,” which will visit six cities starting in September.

●Travis Japan Profile
Formed in 2022.
Michael Jackson’s choreographer Travis Payne auditioned the members and formed the group. The group’s name was named after Travis Payne, “Travis Japan.” After some member changes, the group has been active with the current seven members since 2017.
From March 2022, he will be studying abroad in Los Angeles, USA to improve his skills.
On Friday, October 28th, they made their worldwide debut with “JUST DANCE!” on Capitol Records, becoming the first Japanese artist to chart in at number 5 on the Billboard Global excluding US charts (as of November 12th) with their debut song. Three songs simultaneously made it into the TOP 10 of the Oricon Weekly Digital Single Ranking (as of November 7th)!
Starting on January 28, 2023, he will hold his first tour since his debut, “Travis Japan Debut Concert Tour 2023 THE SHOW ~Tadaima, Okaeri~”, which will consist of 23 performances in total in 5 cities across the country, attracting 230,000 people.
On December 20th (Wednesday) they released their first music CD, their first album “Road to A”, which reached number one on the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Rankings Weekly Album / Weekly Digital Album / Weekly Combined Album, as well as recording the top spots on the Billboard Charts JAPAN Hot Albums / Download Albums / Top Albums Sales / Artist 100.
“TGI Friday Night,” released on March 18, 2024, ranked first and second in the Oricon weekly digital single (single song) rankings (as of April 1st), as well as first place on Billboard JAPAN’s “Download Songs” and second place on the Billboard JAPAN HOT100.
